SP-Arte Rotas is an art fair that moves with the times. Born with a focus on Brazilian production, it reinvents itself to reflect the pulse of the contemporary world. More than a geographic territory, Rotas is a platform for connections, movements, and discoveries. A convergence point for artists, galleries, and audiences shaping the direction of art today.

From August 27 to 31, SP-Arte Rotas occuped the ARCA with about 60 curated projects, bringing together galleries, cultural institutions, and initiatives that expand the discussion on contemporary art.

For the second consecutive year, the event features Rodrigo Moura as artistic director. A curator, editor, and Brazilian art critic, Moura works at MALBA (Buenos Aires) and continued collaborating with galleries on developing their projects for the fair. He also again leads the curatorial direction of the Mirante section, dedicated to large-scale works that engage with the country’s history and socio-cultural context.

The fair’s program included talks with artists and curators. In the period leading up to and during the event, the Circuito SP-Arte took place, featuring exhibition openings and events across São Paulo.
